History of Emerging Leaders: The Providers’ Council/Donahue Institute report Help Wanted 2 cited concerns with young people not entering the human services workforce, as well as the concern of the loss of institutional knowledge stemming from the retirement of the ‘baby boomer’ generation. The need for leadership during this transition is crucial to the future of the sector, and the Emerging Leaders Roundtable was created to meet this need.
