Certificate in Supervision Training Series

Supervisors are the heart of all organizations and key to organizational effectiveness. As the link between
leadership and staff, standards of excellence and best practices are transmitted by supervisors. Being
a supervisor is one of the most challenging roles in today’s workplace. When faced with greater
expectations and increasing challenges, it is critical that supervisors be able to demonstrate effective effective
supervisory techniques. Supervisors need to have the knowledge, skill and ability to meet these challenges
with confidence.

The Providers’ Council worked with human service providers to determine the crucial skills that supervisors
must have. This supervision series brings together consultants who have decades of experience training
supervisors and combines their knowledge of the field into a comprehensive set of trainings providing key
skills needed for excellence in supervision.
