Conflict Management

Participating supervisors will gain a deeper understanding of how to effectively supervise

in a diverse and changing workplace where problems and conflict demand proactive action.

Five modes of managing conflict will be presented and participants will have the opportunity to

assess their preferred style. Together, the group will explore the daily issues of dealing with

conflict, develop essential skills to respond during disagreement and problem-solving issues

supervisors face in today's workplace.

Objectives:

  • Identify five typical responses to conflict
  • Understand how to work more effectively with individual differences
