SUPERVISION I: COMMUNICATION AND LEADERSHIP
Attending supervisors will participate in self assessment and other exercises that pinpoint their strengths and bring to light opportunities for improvement. Interactive activities take participants through the paces of leadership, communication, and effective listening. With continuous, open dialogue; self reflection; learning opportunities; and on-going positive reinforcement; personal growth will occur.
This proven training program focuses on strength-based skill-building, best practices and effective techniques rather than theory so supervisors can immediately put what they learn into action. The program utilizes multimedia presentations, interactive lecture and facilitated small and large group exercises. A mixture of small group discussions, case scenarios, practice sessions, and full room exercises keep the training pace lively and engaging. Opportunity for questions and discussion will be provided.
