Our industry is reliant on our workforce more than many industries, and the Providers’ Council has made this issue the first point of its Five Point Agenda for Human Service Reform.

The Providers’ Council Workforce Committee spearheads efforts in this area. Providers’ eAcademy® - our online learning management system – is the first accomplishment for professional development in human services. The Workforce Committee also led the charge in developing Help Wanted: The Future of the Human Services Workforce in Massachusetts report with the Donahue Institute of the University of Massachusetts.

Work is currently underway on a second report with Donahue, focusing on workforce recruitment and retention strategies nationally and within our state. To sponsor this effort, click below:
